Red Zone Roulette
Every red zone drive is a prediction. Yes or no. All Sunday long.
Red Zone Roulette is the RedZone channel turned into a contest. Every time any team on any Sunday game crosses the 20-yard line, a question appears on your phone: will this drive end in a touchdown? You get about fifteen seconds to call it, then the drive answers for you.
There is no lineup to build, no salary cap, and nothing to research beforehand. It is the only game we ship that you can join at 6pm and still play properly — which makes it the easiest possible first contest.
How it works
You join a Sunday contest — full day, early slate, or late slate — and then just watch football. Each red zone drive publishes one question with two buttons. Answer inside the window and your call is locked; miss it and nothing happens, because an unanswered question is worth exactly zero rather than a penalty. Standard calls are worth a point either way. Bonus questions turn up a handful of times a Sunday and are worth more, and cost more. Five correct answers in a row pay a streak bonus, ten pay a bigger one. The leaderboard updates as each drive ends.
Scoring
- Correct call (touchdown or not)+1 pt
- Wrong call−1 pt
- Bonus question (rarer, harder)+2 to +5 pts
- Five correct in a row+3 bonus
When it runs
Runs on NFL Sundays through the regular season and playoffs. Contests cover the full day, the early slate, or the late slate — join before or during, and stop whenever you want.
An hour of a Sunday
It's 1:40pm. Two games hit the red zone within a minute of each other, so two cards stack up on your screen. You call touchdown on the first and no on the second.
The first drive stalls and settles for a field goal — that's −1. The second stalls too, so your 'no' banks +1. You're level, and a bonus question opens asking whether the next score will come through the air or on the ground. You call rush, it's a quarterback sneak, and that's +3.
By the end of the early slate you've answered 14 of 22 questions at 71% and you're sitting +9 with a three-answer streak running. Two more and the streak bonus lands.
What makes Red Zone Roulette different
- Zero setup — no lineup, no salary cap, no pre-game research at all.
- Drop in and out whenever you want; skipping a question never costs you.
- The whole contest is live. Every question is decided within a minute of being asked.
