Survivor Series
One pick a week. Fifteen points. Never the same player twice.
Survivor Series takes the office survivor pool everyone already understands and points it at individual players instead of team wins. Each week you name one NFL player you believe will score at least 15 standard fantasy points. Clear the bar and you live to pick again; fall short and your season is over.
The twist that makes it a real game is the no-reuse rule: once you've spent a player, you can never pick him again. Burning your best running back in Week 2 is a decision you're still paying for in Week 15.
How it works
You enter once, before Week 1, and that entry lasts the whole regular season. Every week you choose a single quarterback, running back, receiver or tight end from the players you haven't already used, optionally predicting his exact point total as a tiebreaker. Picks lock at kickoff and cannot be changed. When the week's stats settle, anyone whose player reached 15.0 points survives; anyone below it — including anyone who forgot to pick at all — is eliminated on the spot. The entries still alive after Week 18 split the prize pool, and if every survivor falls in the same week, the last group standing splits it instead.

When it runs
Season-long, Weeks 1–18 of the NFL regular season. Entries close before Week 1; there are no mid-season joins. Each week's pick locks at kickoff and grades once that week's stats are final. The pool settles after Week 18, or as soon as a single survivor remains.
A season that ends in Week 9
Week 1 you take the safest quarterback on the board. He throws for 280 and three scores — 25.2 points, comfortably clear. Survived, and one elite name is now off your list forever.
You spend the next seven weeks working down your board: a workhorse back in a soft matchup, an elite receiver at home, a tight end against a defense that can't cover the middle. Each survival costs you another option.
Week 9 you're out of obvious answers — your best remaining names are on bye. You take a running back in a road game and he manages 11.4 points. Under the line. Eliminated in Week 9, with the survivors who made it further splitting what's left of the pool.
What makes Survivor Series different
- Two minutes a week, but a single miss ends an eighteen-week run — the lowest time cost and the highest tension of anything we run.
- The no-reuse rule turns a simple pick into a season-long budget: every good week spends an asset you can't get back.
- Player props, not team wins — a survivor format nobody else offers.
