Team Fantasy

Season-long bragging rights without the player research grind.

Team Fantasy is a season-long private league game. Each week you pick one NFL team — your score is the sum of the fantasy points scored by every player who appeared in a game for that team (QB, RBs, WRs, TEs, and the team's defense).

The catch: each team can only be used a limited number of times per season (default: once). Saving Kansas City for the Week 15 playoff push is the whole game.

How it works

Your commissioner creates a private league (up to 8 members), sets the scoring preset (standard, PPR, or half-PPR), team-use limit, entry fee, and weekly vs. season prize split. Every week you pick one NFL team before their first kickoff. Results automatically calculate your score from real box-score stats. Season standings accumulate; weekly pots go to that week's top scorer, and the season pot distributes at Week 18.

Scoring

  • Passing yard (QB)+0.04
  • Passing TD+4 pts
  • Rushing / receiving TD+6 pts

When it runs

Season-long, Weeks 1–18 of the NFL regular season. Leagues open before Week 1; no mid-season joins. Weekly picks lock at your team's first kickoff. Season-end payouts distribute once Week 18 scoring is final.

A week in your league

It's Week 7. You pick the Kansas City Chiefs — they're at home against the Raiders. Mahomes throws for 312 yards and 3 TDs; Kelce adds 9 catches, 110 yards, and a score. The defense racks up 3 sacks.

Your PPR score: Mahomes (QB) + Hill + Kelce (WR/TE) + the DST = 87.4 fantasy points — top score in your 8-person league and a $6 weekly pot.

But you've now used KC. The tough call is whether to burn the 49ers in Week 12 or hold them for the easier Week 16 matchup.

What makes Team Fantasy different

  • 01
One decision per week — pick a team, not a 15-player lineup. You're done in 30 seconds.
  • 02
Team-use limits force season-long strategy: every elite team you use is one you can't use later.
  • 03
Commissioner-run private leagues bring the social layer that pure DFS contests don't have.
