Common questions

Does the 10% rake apply to every contest type?
Yes — the same 10% rake applies to all fifteen game formats: Draft Baron, Free Agent Frenzy, Team Fantasy, Fantasy Bingo, Stat Rankings, Block Pools, The Fantasy Four, Position Rankings, Playbook Poker, Gridiron Wordle, Quarter Blitz, Red Zone Roulette, Survivor Series, War Room, and Draft Stock Exchange. Freeroll (free-to-enter) contests have no rake.
What was 0% rake during launch week?
Launch week was our opening promotion. From the September 1, 2026 launch date through the end of that first week, every paid contest ran at 0% rake and the full entry pool went to winners. That promotional period has ended — the standard 10% rake applies to paid contests now.
Are there payment processing fees on deposits or withdrawals?
We do not add a platform fee on top of payment processing. Any processing fee charged by the payment processor (e.g., a card network fee) is absorbed in the rake, not charged separately. Card payments are not integrated yet, so deposits and withdrawals are both arranged by email with info@rocket-dfs.com in the meantime.
What is the minimum deposit?
The minimum deposit is $10. You can add funds in any amount at or above that — start small and scale up whenever you like.
What is the minimum withdrawal, and how do withdrawals work?
The minimum withdrawal is $20. Self-serve withdrawals are not built yet: to request one, email info@rocket-dfs.com from the address on your account. We review each request by hand and return approved funds to the payment method you used to fund your account. We do not publish a settlement window for these requests, because the review is manual and we will not quote a timeline we cannot hold. We will update this page before that changes. Rocket DFS does not charge a withdrawal fee.
What does “winnings subject to verification” mean?
Rocket DFS does not run an identity check today — we have not asked you for an ID document, a Social Security Number, or a selfie. Today the phrase means we review each withdrawal request, and screen it for fraud, before approving it; a request is held only until that review finishes, not indefinitely, and we email you if we need anything. Identity verification (KYC) is a licensing requirement for real-money play in most states, so we will have to put it in place before automatic withdrawals open. It is not built yet and we have not set a date for it.
How does Team Fantasy pricing work?
Team Fantasy is a private league format. Your commissioner sets the entry fee at league creation — it can be $0 (play money), $5, or any amount you agree on. The rake applies to whatever pool is collected, so a $50 league runs on a $45 net pot.
Is my winnings amount shown before or after rake?
Contest detail pages display the net prize pool after rake (what you can actually win), not the gross amount collected. The rake deduction is noted in the payout breakdown.
